“Mulan” is the story about a young woman who steps in to take the place of her father after the Emperor issues a decree that one man per family must serve in the Imperial Army to defend the country from Northern invaders.
Honestly, I’m not impressed. The trailer did not reveal too much information. It was mostly a lot of action, lots of fighting, and stunts, which could not be any further from Disney’s original Mulan.
Another disappointing thing is the only familiar face we see is Mulan’s. I do believe Mushu will be featured in this new film. Shang, however, will not.
This is only our first look at the movie. And there will be more trailers. I apologize this review is kind of negative, but I had really high hopes for this movie, and I was disappointed with what this trailer presented.
I really hope there will be more behind the intensity.
