Cheesy Christmas Romance Movies that I Love | Blogmas Day Three

Hello everyone! It’s only December 3rd, and the holiday stress it starting to hit. When I’m feeling stressed or anxious during this season, I like to curl up under a comfy blanket with a yummy hot drink and binge watch cheesy Christmas movies. These are some of my favorites!

The Christmas Train

“A cynical journalist decides to take a train from Washington, D.C. to Los Angeles for Christmas to get inspiration for a story in honor of his late father. He gets to know the other passengers and runs into an old flame while aboard.”

This is a great, chill, cozy Christmas romance with a cool mystery aspect.

12 Dates of Christmas

Lol, the thumbnail!

“A story that follows Kate, a young woman who after a horrible blind date on Christmas Eve, wakes up to find she is re-living that same day and date all over again.”

This is my favorite cheesy Christmas romance! I think I’ve already watched it ten times.

Christmas Catch

“A small-town policewoman falls for a suspected diamond thief at Christmas time.”

The Princess Switch

“Competing in a Christmas baking competition in Belgravia, a Chicago baker bumps into the prince’s fiancée–who looks just like her. They switch lives for two days.”

Netflix has just released the third instalment in the film series. Actually, I think the 3rd one is really good.

A Christmas Prince

“When a reporter goes undercover as a tutor to get the inside scoop on a playboy prince, she gets tangled in some royal intrigue and ends up finding love – but will she be able to keep up her lie?”

This movie lacks in the romance department, but they got the mystery subplot spot on. And there’s also two other movies in the series that you can binge.

The Spirit of Christmas

“12 days before Christmas, Kate is trying to close the sale of a historic inn, only to find Daniel, the ghost of a man who died a century ago, and he needs her help to unravel the mystery of his annual holiday haunting.”

It’s been a few years since I’ve seen this movie, but it’s really good. It’s a cute Holiday romance.

christmas in connecticut

“While recovering in a hospital, war hero Jefferson Jones grows familiar with the “Diary of a Housewife” column written by Elizabeth Lane. Jeff’s nurse arranges with Elizabeth’s publisher, Alexander Yardley, for Jeff to spend the holiday at Elizabeth’s bucolic Connecticut farm with her husband and child. But the column is a sham, so Yardley hastens to arrange a publicity ploy by setting up single, nondomestic Elizabeth on a country farm.”

This is a funny and adorable film from 1945! A must watch for any cheesy holiday romance fan.

Now, I know I’m missing some really great cheesy movies, so what’s your favorite cheesy Christmas romance? I’d love to know!

Thanks a bunch!
