September Wrap-Up!

I have never done a wrap up before. I love reading them and they look like so much fun! However, I am really bad when it comes to regular posts, you might have noticed… I don’t think I have posted a monthly bullet journal spread since June, but I really want to try with this one!

Reading

I actually read more than one book this month! I love reading, but I have a hard time trying to find the time so usually it’s one book a month for me.

One by One, Gilbert Morris

One by One (Dani Ross Mystery #1)

One By One by Gilbert Morris is a mystery novel about Dani Ross who adandons her education to take over her ill fathers dective agency.

She ends up becoming a victim to a kidnapping. She wakes up in a silo remodeled as a prison. Around her are eleven other people, all are clueless as to why they have been brought together. Their captor relentlessly insists they are united by one dark secret and that their lives depend on their confessing it.

This was a pretty good book, I think I would give it a 4/5.

The Fault in our Stars

Amazon.com: The Fault in Our Stars (8601402233168): Green, John: Books

I would be surprised it you did’t know what the fault in our stars is about, but basically it’s about two teenagers, Hazel and Augustus, who have cancer. I’m sure it’s no surprise to you that they fall in love. This book is heartwarming and heartbreaking.

I would probably give this a 3/5

My TBR list

I recently checked out from the library Dead silence by Robin Carol and Coraline by Neil Gaiman. I wanted something creepy for Halloween and Neil Gaiman is as far as I will go for ‘horror’. I also bought a copy of little women last month and if I can find the time I would love to read the fellowship of the ring this month.

Dead Silence is about a court sign language interpreter who reads the lips of someone who threatens to kill the Senator.

What I’ve been watching

Lately I’ve been watching family matters, but before that I was bingeing Avatar: the last airbender.

Writing

I started out this month with a consistant routine, but then I got sick and became too busy with work and school and I forgot about it. I think that now, it being ‘Preptober’ and all, that I’ll take my WIP back to the workshop and polish up the plot and characters (which really need help) and then continue writing during Nanowrimo. And of course I’ll document all of it right here for you!

Songs on repeat

The songs I’ve been playing on repeat this month would be… *Drum-roll please

Hold me while you wait, Lewis Capaldi

Tear in my Heart, Twenty One Pilots

Falling, Harry Styles

All you’ve ever wanted, Casting Crowns

I’ve got you, Shaun Groves

This month’s obsessions

Well for one, AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER! And Motorcycles which I will talk about in a second.

The blog

Unfortunately I didn’t post as much as I should have. I posted 5 post, had about 24 total views, 12 likes, 3 comments, and gained 3 followers.

Most popular post

My most popular post this month was Man, I want a Motorcycle where I talk about, you guessed it, how I want a motorcycle.

One you might have missed

Don’t miss the post where I answer the question does your font affect your writing?

Well, thanks for reading! Hopefully in the future I’ll be able to continue this and maybe it’ll get more organized.

Thanks a bunch!
